Quite an amazing TV.

We have now been using our 2019 LG 9000PUA 55" TV for a little over one week. We upgraded from a 40" 1080P LED TV. The picture quality from the upgrade is like night and day. Our main source is satellite TV that is standard HD. The LG TV has an upscaler that makes the standard HD closer to the look of 4K. There is more detail and better color than our old 1080P TV. The Full Array Local Dimming makes the dark scenes look a lot better although there is still a bit of a halo effect around objects in the really dark scenes (but not near as bad as our old TV).The smart functions on this TV are impressive and numerous. There are many built in apps for the most popular streaming services. We did use one to stream a 4k movie and the picture on it was Incredible. Makes you wish all programs were in 4K. LG also has their own channels you can stream. The TV is very easy to use due to the magic remote. All you have to do is point the remote at the TV. You get a pointer on the screen that you use to navigate the menus. You can choose from various scene options for the type of program you are watching or the type of room you are in (dark or lighted room). I prefer the HDR Effect mode. The actual look of the TV is very nice. It has a very thin bezel around the screen. Watching the TV for the last week or so has been a pleasure. The overall picture is stunning. It has enhanced our overall entertainment experience and makes watching movies even more enjoyable. I would recommend this TV to anyone the cannot afford the jump to OLED but wants the best LED TV on the market today. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.
